Using Argo CD
Open Argo CD from the console’s app switcher and sign in with your Kupe account. Your project is named after your tenant.
Find your destination
Section titled “Find your destination”Open Settings → Clusters and copy the NAME value for your cluster.
Use that exact value as spec.destination.name in your Application.
Use your tenant name for spec.project.
Copy the name again if you delete and recreate a cluster. Use the registered name rather than a server URL.
Create and check an application
Section titled “Create and check an application”Follow Create Argo CD applications.
Use one Application per target cluster; ApplicationSet is unavailable.
Tenant projects support namespaced resources and Namespace, but other
cluster-scoped resources need support assistance.
Check Sync Status and Health in Argo CD. Applications created in your
cluster’s argocd namespace do not show deployment status through
kubectl get application; check Argo CD or the workload itself.
Admins can manage applications. Read-only members can inspect them. For a pod terminal, use the console. Use the browser interface or Kubernetes manifests to manage deployments.
If a deployment fails
Section titled “If a deployment fails”- Unknown destination or project: copy the cluster name and check your tenant name.
- Repository cannot be read: check the repository URL and credentials under Settings → Repositories.
- Resource not permitted: check cluster policies or contact support.
- Application missing: create it in your cluster’s
argocdnamespace. For private repositories, use the Secret labels in the application guide.
Contact support with the application name and error if you need help.
